BACKGROUND

While attending James Madison University I made a trip to Smith Mountain Lake and fell in love with the lake and the surrounding area. After graduating in 1976 with a degree in Special Education, I left Virginia with the knowledge that I would return to this beautiful area.

In December of 1985 my husband and I moved to Smith Mountain Lake from the Annapolis, Maryland area. I learned a lot about the lake area and also home building while assisting my husband with his construction business.

In November 1992 I became a licensed real estate agent and began my real estate career at Century 21-Sellers and Associates here at the lake. I received my my first achievement award in the second quarter of 1993 and continue to receive achievement awards. I have been with Prudential Waterfront Properties since July 1994 when Century 21-Sellers merged with Waterfront Properties, and then became a Prudential office November 2005.
