Ken Swain

I found Smith Mountain Lake in 1970 and invested in property. In 1986 the allure of the lake drew me to early retirement. I retired from the Glen Ridge Police Department as Chief and Public Safety Director. Shortly after moving to the lake I was employed by the Smith Mountain Lake Partnership to open the Welcome Center. From there I entered the Real Estate business and came with Waterfront Properties in 1993.
